Privacy Policy

Last updated October 2026

QuBorn (“we”, “us”) runs this website at quborn.in. This policy explains what information the website collects, why, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible and never sell your data.

Our quantum simulation software runs on a separate platform, quantumsimulation.in, which has its own privacy policy covering accounts and saved projects.

1. Information we collect

  • Messages you send us: if you use the Consult or Contact form, the details you enter (name, e-mail address, and optionally organization, phone number and area of interest) and your message.
  • Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider receives standard request data such as IP address and browser type in its server logs, used to operate and secure the site.
  • Your colour-scheme choice: if you switch between light and dark mode, the choice is stored in your own browser (local storage). It is not sent to us.

The website has no user accounts and uses no advertising or tracking cookies.

2. How we use your information

  • To read and reply to the requests and messages you send us.
  • To keep the website secure and working.

3. Sharing & service providers

  • We do not sell or rent your personal data.
  • Form messages are delivered to us by e-mail through a form-delivery service (Web3Forms), which processes them only to deliver them to us.
  • Our website hosting provider processes request data to serve the site.
  • We may disclose data if required by law.

4. Retention

We keep messages for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, and then delete them.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the information you sent us, and to object to its use. Contact us and we will help.

6. Children

This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.

7. Changes

We may update this policy; the date below shows the latest version.
